Shipping & Returns
Handling time
Orders ship within 24–48h (Mon–Fri) from our CN/HK facility.
Estimated delivery: US/EU 7–12 business days. Tracking is provided.
Returns & exchanges (change-of-mind)
Because we ship cross-border, we’re currently unable to accept returns or exchanges for change-of-mind (e.g., wrong size/color, not a fit).
If something simply isn’t right for you, email us within 7 days of delivery and we’ll send a one-time 30% off code for your next purchase as a goodwill gesture.
Details: single-use, valid 30 days, not transferable or stackable.
Defective / wrong item
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days at support@budgetholidayshop.com with your order number and clear photos/video (outer package + product). We’ll replace the affected item or refund it promptly.
Hygiene & personal items
For safety reasons, intimate/personal-care products are non-returnable once opened. Unopened units follow the rules above.
Refused/undeliverable parcels
Parcels refused or undeliverable due to incorrect address, unpaid duties, or missed delivery are not eligible for shipping refunds. Reshipment, if requested, is billed at cost.
Notes for EU/UK customers
Some regions grant statutory withdrawal rights. Where applicable by law, exceptions for sealed hygiene goods still apply.

About us
Budget Holiday Shop ships gifts directly from our CN/HK fulfilment hub. We focus on budget-friendly, gift-ready items.
Ordering & payment
- Prices shown in USD unless stated otherwise.
- We accept major cards and other methods provided by Shopify Payments.
- Orders are captured when placed. Fraud checks may apply.
- Change/cancel window: we can edit or cancel until the order is fulfilled (often within 24–48h). After fulfilment, changes aren’t possible.
Coupons & promotions
- One-time 30% goodwill code may be offered for change-of-mind cases (see Shipping & Returns).
- Codes are single-use, non-transferable, cannot be stacked, and may exclude clearance/gift cards.
Shipping & risk of loss
- Handling time: 24–48h (Mon–Fri); tracking provided.
- Risk of loss passes on delivery scan to the shipping address. See “Refused/undeliverable parcels” in Shipping & Returns.
Returns
- Final sale except for defective/incorrect items per Shipping & Returns.
Age-restricted & compliance items
- Adults-only items (18+): buyer confirms legal age and local legality.
- Herb/tobacco accessories are for legal use only. We do not sell controlled substances.
- Toy items are novelty products; do not modify to resemble real weapons; comply with local import rules.
- We may cancel orders shipping to regions where items are restricted.
Acceptable use
Don’t use our site for unlawful activities, to infringe IP, or to collect others’ data without consent. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Intellectual property
All content, logos, and images are our property or used with permission. Personal, non-commercial use only.

Privacy Policy
What we collect
Name, shipping address, email, phone (optional), order details, and payment confirmation (handled by secure processors). Basic analytics/cookies help us improve the store.
How we use it
To process and deliver your order, send transactional emails (order updates, tracking), provide support, prevent fraud, and—only if you opt-in—send marketing emails.
Sharing
We share data with service providers strictly to run the store: Shopify (store platform), payment processors, shipping carriers/fulfilment, and analytics providers. We never put ads or flyers inside packages.
Retention & your rights
We keep order records for legal/accounting periods, then delete or anonymize. You may request access, correction, or deletion (where applicable by law). EU/UK/CA/California users: GDPR/UK GDPR/CPRA rights apply, including opt-out of marketing.

Taxes & Duties

United States
- We currently do not collect U.S. sales tax unless legally required (state nexus).
- De minimis (Section 321): Most personal imports ≤ USD $800 are typically duty-free. Orders above that may have duties/taxes collected by the carrier.
European Union & United Kingdom —
Prepaid by us (usual case)
- For most EU/UK destinations, VAT/duties are prepaid by us, so you typically won’t pay anything on delivery.
- How it works:
EU: For orders up to €150, VAT is charged at checkout and remitted via our program (e.g., IOSS) — no payment on delivery.
Above €150 or special routes, we aim to ship DDP (duties/taxes paid) where available. If a carrier requests payment in error, contact us first so we can resolve it.
Exceptions / special territories (may not be covered): Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Canary Islands, Ceuta/Melilla, Channel Islands, Andorra, Monaco, and some remote areas. These locations may still collect local VAT/duties or handling fees on delivery.
- Invoices: VAT-style invoices are available upon request.
Canada, Australia & Other Regions
- Depending on route and carrier, local VAT/GST/duties may be collected on delivery. Where we can prepay, we’ll show taxes included or prepaid at checkout; otherwise charges (if any) are set by local customs.
General Notes
- We declare contents/values honestly and follow import rules. Customs delays can occasionally occur and are outside our control.
- If a parcel is refused or returned due to unpaid import charges (in regions not covered by prepayment) or address issues, see our Shipping & Returns for refund eligibility.
- If you’re unexpectedly asked to pay VAT/duties in an area we usually prepay, please contact support before paying to avoid duplicate charges: support@budgetholidayshop.com.
